Job Title: Drafter
Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Requirements:
In-office availability for at least four days per week is required, with the option to work remotely one day per week5-7 years of drafting experience requiredAn associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience working with AutoCAD, with a strong focus on AutoCAD 2D design
- Experience with using CAD software and design tools
- GIS experience is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards
- Ability to lead a small project
- This position will focus on the design, creation of specification drawings, and maintenance of underground drawings
- Experience producing underground utility drawings or similar technical designs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with a willingness to learn GIS systems, if not already experienced
- Work with 2D and some 3D CAD to develop models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers
- Revising existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects
- Assisting with site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes
