Job Overview And Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the product owner team is efficient at defining features, epics, and stories into detailed functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria. Must ensure that the IT product teams have all of the necessary details to deliver high-quality products while creating scalable, maintainable, and reusable big data solutions.
- Leads initiatives from a product delivery standpoint by helping facilitate, explore, and decide upon solution alternatives to business problems
- Responsible for the supervising the prioritization and planning efforts for the product owner team spanning across mutiple portfolios
- Partner with key players in the organization to weigh in various solution alternatives by performing cost/benefit analyses for an MVP based approach that delivers maximum business value
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and document the business case, scope, product backlog, technical debt and product delivery roadmap
- Manage dependencies and set priorities across multiple domains to maintain alignment to the Product release vision and roadmap
- Create user stories, non-functional requirements and follow agile best practices
- Perform data analysis, workflow analysis, create current/future state data flow diagrams and help the team assess the business impact of any changes or enhancements
- Responsible for the supervising tasks related to development/production readiness, product demo and user acceptance
- Should be comfortable with individual contribution as well as lead a small team of Product Owners / Business Data Analysts by being a mentor to junior team members

Qualifications
Required
- BE, BTECH or equivalent, in computer science or related STEM field
- AWS Certifications preferred
- 8+ years of total IT experience as either a Product Owner/Business Data Analyst or as a Software Engineer
- 5+ years of overall Data Engineering experience in either AWS or Azure Cloud environments
- 3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies like PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, HBASE, Kafka, Redshift, Cassandra etc.
- 5+ years of experience with relational database systems like MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata
- Experience with non-relational database systems like Cassandra, Mongo DB, DynamoDB etc.
- Experience with Visualization tools such as Spotfire, OBIEE, BO, Cognos, Quicksight etc
- Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Product Roadmap Creation, Feature Prioritization, Agile / Scrum Based Development
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge in Big Data
