The Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization was formed with the mission of helping Boeing achieve our vision to innovate and operate to make the world better. Our Global Sustainability Reporting & Governance team has an outstanding opportunity for a strategic problem solver with a passion for environmental sustainability who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are seeking a senior social sustainability reporting integrator who will advance our environmental reporting and disclosure practices to meet accelerating customer expectations and regulatory compliance requirements
Key tasks include:
- Leading Boeing's environmental sustainability reporting integration activities in the United Kingdom, European Union, and potentially elsewhere to drive compliance with emerging sustainability disclosure requirements (including CSRD, CS3D, UK NFSIS, etc.)
- Support annual enterprise Sustainability reporting activities including the sustainability portion of our company’s Proxy Statement, and other climate reporting
- Maturing Boeing’s environmental data governance and control practices in the EU and UK support of all reporting needs, including future regulatory and assurance requirements
- Support greenhouse gas reporting activities in the UK and EU
- Meet emerging environmental disclosure requirements as they arise; aligning to global enterprise approach
- Partner with cross-functional teammates on enterprise-wide reporting activities
- Facilitate governance related activities with leadership in the EU and UK
- Collaborating externally and internally with cross-industry and enterprise peers to benchmark and share key trends and standard methodologies
Critical skills for success in the role include:
- Direct experience in Sustainability/ESG voluntary and/or regulatory reporting in the UK and the European Union including with Non Financial Sustainability Information Statement, Carbon Reduction Plan, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.
- Direct experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, UN Sustainable Development Goal’s, and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
- Excellent program/project management with experience implementing complex sustainability governance and programs at major corporation
- Experience with supplier reporting tools such as Ecovadis and Joscar
- Data management, controls & governance experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in complex cross-functional settings
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- past experience managing large complex initiatives
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, strategic decision making
- Planning & strategy development; experience using data to drive environmental strategies
- Collaboration & partnership; ability to work with employees across all levels including Senior Leadership/C-Suite members
- Proficient in presentation development/PowerPoint and data analysis/Excel
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise based upon professional experience in sustainability, ideally in the aviation industry.
- Excellent ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders across levels, including senior executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects and integrating a portfolio of activities spanning multiple business units and functions. Experience of programme management with associated professional qualifications in project and programme management.
- Experience of designing and implementing strategies to achieve reductions in scope 1 and 2 emissions.
- Ideally the candidate will have implemented and managed Carbon Reduction Plans.
- Relevant professional experience and desirable to have masters or other relevant advanced degree or certification in ESG/sustainability related field.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom.
