About the Role
This position is responsible for final testing on Lens Assembly builds (MTF).
Primary Responsibilities
- Optical testing and set up of assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Part and assemble inspection and set up using CMM
- Detailed technical data record keeping and reporting
- Test equipment set up and maintenance
Desired Education and Experiences
- Diploma in Mechanical or Optical principles
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of optical testing methods an asset
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and optical drawings
- Working knowledge of Interferometers (ZYGO) an asset
- Ability to run code V and Zemax optics software
