The Talent Acquisition Delivery Specialist will be responsible for leading and delivering many of the strategic and tactical recruitment programs and initiatives for Air Canada's talent acquisition team.
The Talent Acquisition Delivery Specialist will play an important role in building strong partner relationships with HR partners to achieve recruitment objectives, through accurateness and completeness of information.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity and the end-to-end effectiveness of the recruiting processes, systems, and tools
- Collaborate on projects and continuous improvement projects
- Responsible for participating in the assessment of recruiting technology, processes, programs, and tools and recommending how to effectively leverage them for quality and timely performance outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with team members, customers and candidates and ensure processes are followed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Responsible for effective and timely communication within the team and external entities
- Contribute to the on-going improvement of talent processes and documentation
- Ensure that candidate and requisition records in the applicant tracking system are accurate (Taleo)
- Responsible to brief Talent Partners Team on any recruitment policies and procedures changes in a timely manner
- Directly support the internal talent team and HR business partners for specific branches/departments administrative and coordination needs
- Accountable for contributing to the development of recruiting strategies and policies, programs, processes and governance of the talent team
- Participate in the development of all coordination and general talent initiatives
- Participate in recruitment events, conferences, and job fairs as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an administrative support role (previous HR experience would be considered a valuable asset).
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm
- Detailed oriented, focused on quality results and on-time deliverables
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office products)
- Capacity to understand new concepts quickly and to come up with innovative solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify concerns, gauge gaps and recommend an optimal approach
- Analytical and very detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to think strategically and ground strategies in applicable practices.
