About the team you are joining
The Commercial Excellence team is
responsible for driving commercial excellence by supporting the systems,
processes, and tools that enable the broader Commercial Products and Services
team to conduct business with customers effectively and efficiently—from
contracting to invoicing. Essentially, it provides the support
and administrative functions for the commercial team.
Reporting to the Contract Office Manager
, the core responsibility of the role is to perform end-to-end back-office
tasks for suppliers (PtP) and customers (OtC) for the Lines of Business and
processes in scope, particularly for Events, Sales, and Marketing. The most
critical process, Order-to-Cash (OtC), includes contracting and billing.
What your day would be like
-Understand the business need and ensure you have all necessary data to fulfil it.
-Educate stakeholders on approval processes and their requirements.
-Perform OtC activities from beginning to end on assigned contracts/sales orders:
* Contracting and billing in SAP
* Following up on workflows in SAP
* Ensuring the Lines of Business follow the correct protocol when submitting requests
-Sharing best practices with your peers
-Perform PtP activities on assigned contracts
-Maintain guidelines for operational processes to ensure consistency and compliance
We would love to hear from you if
-University degree in Business
Administration or equivalent and some work experience in back-office,
operations or similar. Ability to work effectively in an international and
multicultural fast-paced team environment.
-Hands-on mindset with a strong
willingness to learn/figure things out. Persistent, proactive, and positive
“can-do” attitude. Able to work
efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong sense of customer
service, ownership, and accountability; highly self-motivated.
-Proven organizational skills with the
ability to manage multiple queries simultaneously while maintaining strong attention
to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Excellent English skills (verbal &
written), knowledge of other languages is an asset.
-Highly computer literate, with a
willingness to further develop expertise in SAP ERP, particularly the Sales
and Distribution module.
-Candidates must possess and exhibit the
