As the Melbourne
Cabin Crew Manager, you will form part of the Cabin Crew Leadership team at QantasLink, managing Q400 Cabin Crew team members. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the strategic and operational objectives of the business through the optimisation of safety, on-time performance, employee performance as well as regulatory requirements. As a leader you will manage all aspects of Cabin Crew including their success, development, engagement, wellness and attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and enhance Cabin Crew performance, attendance and engagement
- Provide effective and timely feedback on all performance and conduct issues
- Conduct regular performance reviews in line with the agreed process
- Coach and develop Cabin Crew to improve and enhance their skill set
- Proactively manage safety in line with the Safety Strategy
- Support projects that focus on improvement to operations and customer experience
- Act as Duty Cabin Manager on a 24/7 on call roster – which includes some weekend, public holidays and early mornings.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection processes of new Cabin Crew
You’ll Have
- Demonstrated experience managing large teams in an operational environment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, develop and influence others
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation and diplomacy skills
- Experience working within an industrialised workplace environment
- Strategic thinking styles and build effective teams and engagement
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, time critical environment
- A high level of emotional intelligence and personal integrity
- Ability to work an ‘on-call’ roster as required
