Position Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Work Safely, bring safety issues forward, look out for yourself and your team members
- 5S work area on a daily basis.
- Proficiently operate Machines by loading and unloading parts in the machine.
- Perform machine adjustments to achieve the correct dimensions, finishes and quality.
- Load and save programs as needed.
- Modify and edit programming on the machine as needed.
- Perform any necessary machine adjustments or small repairs in a safe manner.
- Identify when tooling needs replaced and change tooling effectively.
- Understand and follow work instructions, set-up sheets, routers, and downloading programs to properly set-up machines per customer requirements.
- Effectively gauge and measure parts produced
- Assist other departments with projects as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Work on Kaizen events, participate on departmental teams
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma is required or equivalent.
- Knowledge of g-code programming is preferred
- Ability to lift 35 pounds is required.
- Understand and complies with ISO procedures
- Ability to read routers and blueprint drawings and perform proper measurements
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
