Seeking a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist to support a growing nuclear A/E firm who is engineer-of-choice with multiple utilities. This is a contract position slated to last 1 year+ and is 100% remote. Compensation is $60-80/hr, based on experience.
Overview:
This position is supporting the restart of a nuclear power plant. It required strategic sourcing (identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers for specialized nuclear components and materials), securing favorable terms/pricing, and ensuring all sourcing adheres to nuclear industry regulations and quality standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of procurement experience for the nuclear power industry.
- Strong background in sourcing components/parts – for safety-related and non-safety related parts used in nuclear power plants.
- Ability to review and engineering change packages for parts/components needed, and do 9-10 equipment evaluations/day.
- Expertise with Asset Suite.
