What Will You Be Doing?
The Manager, Development & Airport Growth Strategy on the Airport Affairs team supports the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of Frontier’s airport growth, real estate, and infrastructure initiatives. This role manages a portfolio of small and medium airports and provides analytical, operational, and strategic support to Sr. Managers and Directors on large multi-airport growth programs. The Manager is accountable for delivering measurable outcomes within their assigned stations, including capacity enablement, cost control, and effective real estate and facilities coordination. The role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to drive initiatives through structured execution. While the Manager helps prepare strategic materials for senior leadership and may interface with executives as needed, the position focuses primarily on operational delivery, financial analysis, and cross-functional alignment.
Essential Functions
- Execute growth, cost‑reduction, and capacity initiatives within assigned airport portfolio, ensuring alignment with Frontier’s operational and financial objectives.
- Manage a defined airport portfolio and own investment evaluations, financial modeling, and capital recommendations for those stations.
- Lead negotiations for small and medium sized airports, and support Sr. Manager/Director on large airport commercial, real estate, or long‑term airport agreements.
- Coordinate across internal teams—including Network Planning, Finance, Facilities, Operations, and Airport Affairs—to streamline decision‑making and ensure timely execution.
- Support development of multi‑year growth strategies by conducting scenario analyses, preparing financial assessments, and identifying operational and cost impacts.
- Maintain structured reporting and communication processes for ongoing initiatives, providing updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Assist in communication preparation and delivery with Sr. Managers and Directors to senior leadership on program status, financial outcomes, and strategic priorities.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose practical, operationally grounded solutions to improve airport performance.
- Provide informal coaching and guidance to Analysts and Sr. Analysts working on related initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Finance, or relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in business development, aviation/airport strategy, infrastructure project support, consulting, or financial/operational analysis.
- Experience in transportation, airline, or aviation related fields preferred.
- Experience supporting cross functional initiatives in multi stakeholder environments.
- Familiarity with commercial or real estate negotiations is preferred.
