Role Overview
The Principal Product Manager– Web & Mobile will lead IndiGo’s flagship digital channels, driving strategy, design, and delivery across our website and mobile applications. This role anchors IndiGo’s direct-to-consumer ecosystem, ensuring seamless booking, servicing, and engagement experiences for millions of travelers.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in digital product management, customer experience design, and agile execution at scale. The position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to balance innovation with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and own the product roadmap for web and mobile channels, aligning with business objectives and customer needs
- Champion a digital-first, customer-centric mindset to deliver intuitive, high-performing experiences
- Drive innovation through personalization, loyalty, and emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and conversational interfaces
Product Delivery & Execution
- Oversee cross-functional agile squads, ensuring disciplined sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and timely releases
- Spearhead all product PODs to churn out quality
- Translate business requirements into actionable product features and user stories
- Lead A/B testing, data-driven optimization, and customer feedback loops to continuously improve journeys
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance under peak traffic conditions
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end customer experiences
- Work closely with Payments, Loyalty, and Ancillaries teams to enhance revenue streams and conversion
- Engage with external partners (banks, fintechs, travel tech players) to co-create value-added digital experiences
Governance & Metrics
- Establish KPIs across adoption, conversion, NPS, uptime, and release quality
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and accessibility standards
- Maintain clear product documentation, solution sign-offs, and stakeholder communication
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred)
Professional Experience
- 15+ years of digital product management experience, with at least 5 years leading large-scale web & mobile platforms in travel ecosystem
- Proven expertise in consumer-facing (B2C & B2B) digital businesses (airlines, OTAs, e-commerce, fintech, or mobility)
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile delivery, and modern tech ecosystems (APIs, microservices, cloud)
- Experience driving measurable impact on revenue, customer experience, and adoption
