As the result of an internal promotion, we are seeking a Finance Business Partner reporting to the Oceania FP & A Manager who will be responsible for the financial assessment of new business and capital expenditure opportunities across multiple Port Operations.
Your key focus areas:
- Prepare and support customer tender submissions for new and existing business.
- Develop revenue, labour, material, and cost models to analyse the marginal impact and feasibility of new business, including P&L and Cashflow timing.
- Prepare and present capital expenditure business cases and related financial models to senior leadership, including outlining the strategic fit, risks, and opportunities.
- Business Partner with Directors across Oceania including Commercial and Finance.
- Engage and consult cross functional subject matter experts to determine operating model, costs, and quantify customer profitability.
- Post implementation reviews for tenders and business cases including comparison to budget and/or forecasts.
- Month end reporting and forecasting on capital expenditure.
- Preparation of revenue and margin budgets.
- Assisting the wider FP&A team to achieve key deadlines.
About you:
- CA and/or CPA and/or ACA and/or ACCA certification already attained.
- Bachelor’s degree – Finance or Accounting.
- From approximately 5+ years’ experience working as a Commercial Analyst role or similar.
- Previous experience within manufacturing, supply chain management, Commercial, airline and/or airline catering industries would be highly regarded.
- Strong MS Office skills, including PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment and meet deadlines.
- Be motivated to complete projects timely and with accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a result driven approach.
- Current and unrestricted working rights for Australia.
