Tasks
Provision of methods and tools for efficient centralized risk management for the entire Lufthansa Group and coordination of the risk management process in accordance with legal requirements and internal guidelines.
- Coordination and quality assurance of the risk management process, including the requirements of the internal control system
- Consolidation of all Group-wide risks from the specialist departments and companies and clarification of anomalies (e.g. unexpected changes) with the departments concerned
- Preparation of risks for the boards and committees
- Providing information on risks for external reporting
- Designing the Lufthansa Group's risk management system
Requirements
- Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and, in the case of a mandatory internship, written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
- At the time of the internship you are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree course
- Specialist knowledge: Basic knowledge of risk management, controlling or compliance desirable
- Analytical skills: Ability to understand complex issues and analyze them in a structured manner
- IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), ideally initial experience with analysis tools
- Languages: Good to very good knowledge of German and English
- Soft skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team, independent and diligent way of working, high level of initiative and sense of responsibility as well as flexibility and willingness to learn
