Outside Plant Technician – DoDJohnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for an Outside Plant Technician at our client’s project in Warren, MI. The Outside Plant Technician will work within a cohesive team to support our Government customer. The employee shall maintain, install, move, and remove above-ground cable, including copper, coaxial, aerial, and fiber optic cable.
Responsibilities:
- Test cables in accordance with plans and procedures prior to installation and completing forms.
- Splice cables and properly install splice enclosures.
- Troubleshoot cable solution problems
- Maintain compliance with all applicable building and fire code regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience performing OSP functions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred or have equivalent experience
- Position requires a Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
