JSG is seeking Assembler's for a client in the Diamond Bar area. This is an on-site, temp to hire position. Under the close supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler I cleans and details parts and machines using physical strength and a variety of hand and power tools.
Essential Job Duties
- Clean and detail parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools
- Follow mechanical blueprint instructions to detailing
- Advise the Lead or Supervisor of all problems
- Follows specific directions for detailing of parts
- Scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems
- Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines
- Distinguish between parts and the detailing
- Must meet deadlines
Other Duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Move parts and components to the various departments on traveler
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Mechanical ability and knowledge preferred
- Ability to follow specific directions
- Ability to use power tools such as grinders, sanders, buffers
- Knowledge of safety procedures
- Possess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines
Pay rate: $21/hr.
