Planning Engineer is an important position in the Technical Operations department and integral to the team’s function and capabilities. You’ll be a central figure in the team working closely with Engineering, Maintenance Control, Maintenance Operations Planning, external MRO’s and other service providers. Responsibilities and Duties
• Manage Maintenance Records platform and oversee records auditing.
• Coordinate logistics and required corrections ensuring external partners fulfil regulatory and quality requirements.
• Be the department focal for project to digitalize maintenance records.
• Configuration management – monitor and control part requirements and ensuring maintenance system reflect aircraft component configuration throughout the fleet.
• Quality control of received hard time components ensuring correct forecasting of requirements.
• Involvement in other department responsibilities such as maintenance planning, ad hoc projects, aircraft transitions.
• Oversee aircraft utilization ensuring correct transfer from ops system and report monthly utilization to stakeholders
• Coordinate and supporting Airworthiness Reviews
Required qualifications and certifications
• A relevant engineering degree
• Educational requirements can be fulfilled with min. 5 years relevant experience from CAMO or P145 maintenance organization.
• Knowledge of EASA continuing airworthiness regulations beneficial
• Previous experience with Amos, Flydocs or other similar aviation software beneficial
• Good spoken English, advanced understanding and writing.
• Flexible and solution-oriented personality required to meet challenges and mitigate financial and operational risks related to maintenance and control.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks within department responsibilities and cross-department collaboration
