Join our team as a
Purchasing and Stores Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) running smoothly. You’ll manage the stores function with a focus on cost efficiency, strong customer service, and reducing equipment downtime, helping us deliver reliable operations every day.
In this dynamic role, you’ll take ownership of sourcing and purchasing parts and equipment, working closely with GSE teams and management to ensure a seamless and timely supply process. If you’re proactive, detail oriented, and thrive in a fast paced environment, this is your chance to make an impact and keep things moving on the ground.
To Be Successful, You’ll Have
- Extensive experience in identifying and managing supplier networks.
- Practical knowledge and skills in cost control.
- Strong understanding of contracts and commercial documentation.
- Current trade certification relevant to the GSE Airports business is highly desirable.
- High proficiency with various IT systems including but not limited to IFS and SAP.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment within the department.
- Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
