CAD / CAM Programmer (m/w/d)
As an experienced CAD/CAM programmer you can expect a variety of interesting tasks related to prototypes development up to the transition to serial production. This role also involves collaborating with the team to implement processes for machining components on automated CNC machines.
Your tasks in detail:
- Production planning, selection of special tools, and creation of manufacturing fixtures for complex structural components made of aluminum and titanium
- CAD/CAM programming with Hypermill for 5-axis CNC turning and milling centers
- Commissioning of manufacturing processes up to First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Collaboration in maintaining tool libraries
- Setting up, converting, and monitoring CNC machines in collaboration with machine operators
- Quality monitoring of manufactured components
Your profile:
- Completed technical vocational training with further training in CAM programming
- Several years of experience in programming, ideally of 5-axis CNC machines with Hypermill
- Relevant experience with materials used in the aviation industry, such as titanium and aluminum
- Experience in commissioning manufacturing processes for prototypes and small series
- Hands-on mentality and excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ideally, you were already involved in automation projects in a production environment
- Good German and English skills (B2-C1 level) to communicate with international colleagues
