The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is seeking a full time Software Engineer. In this role, you will define mission critical requirements, develop windows and user interfaces for military personnel user experience, and integrate new capabilities into the premier self-defense system for the United States and allied Navies, the Aegis Combat System. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Java, C++, or Python and Linux/UNIX operating systems.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

- Experience with Linux/UNIX Operating Systems
- Experience Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, and Pair Programming)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
- Experienced with Microsoft Office

- Experienced with software models
- Experienced at unit testing
- Experience with Virtual Machines
