As part of the Systems Engineering team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system. You will learn about the various system engineering subject areas with the opportunity to work in all Engineering fields to include system, definition, allocation, maintenance, validation, system integration, and test.
As a
System Engineer on the CPS program you will be involved in all Systems Engineering phases to include Concepts of Operation (CONOPs), Analyses, Specification, and Interface Control Document (ICD) development and maintenance, requirements definition, allocation/derivation, maintenance, and verification/validation.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support major program reviews including Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), delta System Requirements Review (SRR), delta Design Reviews (dPDR, dCDR) and Flight Test Readiness Reviews (DTRR, XRR, MRR)
- Support the development and verification of system requirements and document & manage accordingly.
- Support development of requirement updates and verification plans
- Work with System Modeling team members to link requirements to Cameo model artifacts from architecture through test
- Some travel may be required

- Bachelor of Science or higher in an Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- INCOSE Systems Engineering certification
- Experience related to engineering and integration functions and processes, such as: requirements specifications and verification, system trade studies, design reviews, configuration management, hardware design, systems analyses, development, and test.
- Familiarity with software, electrical and mechanical design, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation
- Familiarity with key systems processes, procedures, and tools
- Extensive experience with IBM DOORS, EPDM/Windchill, Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in building a strong professional relationship with an external customer
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Willingness to mentor junior engineers
- Experience with writing verifiable requirements, maintaining configuration controlled specifications, and reviewing verification evidence
- Active or Current DoD Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
