Role IntroductionIf you're dreaming of a career in the airline industry, we may have some good news for you. Cathay Pacific is looking to strengthen its sales teams in Europe and is recruiting an Account Manager - Trade for France (M/F). Your mission? To achieve and exceed the agreed Trade Sales targets through intelligent use of data. Continuously seek to acquire new business and establish Cathay Pacific in new markets while proactively negotiating and managing existing Agency (including Online Travel Agencies) sales and accounts and indirect sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Market analysis, detection of existing potential and search for new opportunities.
- Knowledge and analysis of Cathay Pacific's offer and the competition.
- Prospecting, making contacts and appointments.
- Negotiation of agency contracts.
- Seek out opportunities in the MICE market (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions), including renewals and repeat business.
- Establish privileged and trustworthy relationships with various contacts in France and abroad (London and Hong Kong in particular).
- Implementation of sales actions.
- Report and evaluate results with short- and medium-term sales strategy.
- Analysis and synthesis of data and trends.
- Track sales and meet targets.Requirements
- With a background in sales, we are looking for an autonomous, assertive, positive, proactive and diplomatic professional, with a strong ability to adapt and a great entrepreneurial and team spirit.
- Strong management of priorities is a must, as are strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English is essential.
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills in Trade and Key Accounts, with a solid knowledge of sales techniques and arguments.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Experience in the air transport sector or in the travel industry is obviously an advantage.
- Proficiency in Pack Office, MIDT, DDS and Sales Force. This position, which reports directly to the Regional Head of Trade Sales (Europe), is based in Neuilly-sur-Seine (92), France. Travel to Paris, Paris Region, and occasionally to other parts of France and abroad. A driving license may be required.Benefits
