Budget and Contracts Analyst for our Engineering and Fleet Management department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Validates accuracy of the billing summaries or any equivalent received that they are in accordance with the Maintenance Contract or Agreement with counterparty
- Coordinates and communicates with vendors on any concerns pertaining to the billing summaries or any equivalent thereof
- Prepares and monitors Service Orders
- Maintains and manages vendor relationship by ensuring on time payment of invoices
- Participates in annual budget preparation of Engineering & Fleet Management
- Monitors approved budget by preparing Monthly & Quarterly Cost Reports (Actual Versus Budget, with Variance analysis)
- Prepares maintenance accrual reports on a monthly basis
- Prepares other cost data and analyses to support management reports and initiatives such as but not limited to business cases, unit cost reduction studies, financial forecasts, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a college graduate of bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
- Preferably a CPA
- Must have good communication skills, verbally and written.
- Preferably with at least 1 3 years of work experience in dealing with financial statements and analytics.
- Previous work experience in finance and contracts budget administration in an Airline or Aviation industry is a huge advantage but not required.
- Must be comfortable working under pressure.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as MS Excel, MS Word.
- Knowledge in PowerBI (report creation) is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work onsite as needed.
Note: This position is based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement which allows remote work and onsite as needed.
