About the team you are joining
The team in Singapore drives ATM and CNS related work and initiatives in the APAC region and works closely with the central team on priorities such as FF-ICE, SWIM and TBO. The team in Singapore is part of a global ATM team. This provides an exposure to regional and global work and stakeholders.
What your day would be like
- Engage with member airlines to identify evolving priorities, technologies, and systems for the future of traffic management. This includes the impacts of new aircraft technologies as disruptors to the aviation system, as well as advancements in communications, navigation and surveillance technologies.
- Develop papers and positions and where applicable, support the development of IATA positions and guidelines (global and regional).
- Organize calls/meetings to coordinate activities across the different departments/divisions linked to the IATA strategy on current and future ATM and airspace concepts.
- Represent IATA and member airlines in industry and regional meetings, including preparing working papers to ICAO and other industry meetings.
- Support the deployment of IATA products and services related to ATM in the APAC region, e.g., consulting projects related to SWIM or FF-ICE implementation.
We would love to hear from you if you have
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in air traffic management. An ATCO qualification is desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Sound aviation knowledge is required. Airline experience or background is a plus.
- Working experience in a multicultural and international environment.
- Excellent networking and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage meetings and foster collaboration across functional and cultural lines.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Demonstrated experience in change management.
- An advocate for inclusion and building trust within the team.
