The Team
Reporting into the Senior Insurance Manager, our Insurance team adds value by helping the business identify and manage insurable risks, including appropriate risk transfer and claims. We work across all business functions and with external partners such as risk consultants, insurers, brokers, re-insurers, legal firms and loss adjusters, creating both financial and cultural value for easyJet.
The Role
As an Insurance Advisor, you’ll be the interface for the Insurance team, responding to a wide range of insurance queries from both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll support the Claims Manager in managing the insured claims process, triage and allocate claims, and provide cradle to grave ownership of ad hoc queries across a wide range of insurances.
You’ll coordinate claims review meetings, facilitate calls and interviews, and work closely with internal teams such as Legal and Customer Excellence to agree ownership of claims and complaints. You’ll also support the annual insurance renewal programme and help document and revise departmental procedures.

- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Team player with the ability to work independently and show initiative
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities to meet deadlines
- Interest in Insurance and Risk Management, with a desire to develop as an insurance professional
- Previous insurance, claims or risk management experience is beneficial but not essential
- Innovative mindset, open to suggesting and considering new approaches

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
