POSITION PURPOSE
Oversees department auditing and observation standards for ground operational activities at mainline partner stations to ensure compliance and conformity.

- Conducts risk-based audits and observations of mainline partner stations as part of Company ground operations oversight.
- Ensures mainline partner stations adhere to outlined compliance and conformity standards.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Gathers and maintains data from completed audits and observations.
- Utilizes SMS standards to provide guidance in determining root causes, risk analysis and corrective actions along with recommendations for changes.
- Presents tracking and trending audit data during meetings.
- Ensures checklists meet IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and FAA standards for oversight as well as assisting in IOSA audits.
- Manages updates to company audit and observation program and checklists.
- Develops audit schedule, monitors C070 and Market Planning to determine stations to be audited.
- Provides support to Company internal departments as well as external stations.
- Assists with TSA and FAA Inspections.
- Assists with irregular operations and emergency response coordination when necessary.
- Act as a company representative for all auditing meetings, committees and partner airline regulatory audit groups.
- Assist with IOSA audit preparation for Airport Operations. Reviews GRH and CGO checklists for compliance.
- Support screening, hiring, training and development of Airport Operations personnel.
- Supports new airport station openings and service resumption events.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Requires 3 years of experience in an airline industry or customer service role.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- May be required to be fluent in written and spoken Spanish, depending on work location.
PREFERRED EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Prefer at least 5 years of experience in airline industry in ramp, operations or customer service role.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent in aviation, technical writing or related field.
- Knowledge in Safety Management Systems (SMS)
Language Skills
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and governmental regulations. Able to write routine reports and correspondence with clear detail. Able to speak effectively before groups of mainline partners, business partners and Company organization.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to work in different airport environments, long shifts, day, night, weekend, holiday as needed.
The work environment is a busy airport terminal.
Travel Requirements
Able to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight stays.
