Role Purpose
This position is responsible for upholding high standards of quality assurance within the organization by conducting audits, organizing training, maintaining records and ensuring quality/compliance while overseeing vendor and budget preparation for the CAMO department.
Key Accountability
- Conduct and actively participate in internal and external Quality Audits/Surveillance, safety-related activities, and compile comprehensive audit/surveillance reports.
- Oversee the annual audit plan and remind the EQA department regarding upcoming audits.
- Strategize, coordinate, and gain approval for internal and external training programs for CAMO staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering competency development.
- Supervise the vendor approval process and control the vendor listing.
- Administer Competency Assessments for CAMO staff to ensure their proficiency and competence.
- Maintain meticulous records of NPH, auditors and regulatory approvals.
- Develop and prepare the training budget for CAMO and the Opex budget for EQA.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Aviation Maintenance related field.
- Minimum 3 (Degree) or 5 (Diploma) years of experiences in Aviation Maintenance with at least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Audit and Train the Trainer certificate. Attended training on Human Factors, SMS, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, Part M, Part 145 and Gen Fam on aircraft type.
Areas of Experience
