Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance (Audits & Coordination)

Position Summary
Accountable to Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance (Audit & Coordination) is responsible for overseeing quality assurance documentation, leading key review meetings, spearheading IOSA preparation and compliance efforts, and providing expert coordination and leadership on crucial internal and external projects.
Key Accountabilities
- To participate and uphold the safety and security policy and procedures within the engineering CAMO department in line with airworthiness requirements and the corporate Safety objective related to CAMO SPI and SPT
- Audit Program
- Assist in organising and implementing the approved Audit program to ensure FY CAMO's continuous compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Support the management of audit report findings, including tracking and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in the maintenance and execution of IATA Pool-related programs such as IFQP and IDQP
- Compliance Monitoring
- Assist in implementing the compliance monitoring framework to identify and address potential non-conformities with CAAM regulations, organization-approved policies, and industry best practices.
- Provide support in gathering information and reporting compliance status to senior management.
- Monitor and report non-compliance and deviations from approved standards to relevant departments for remedial actions.
- Keep updated with the latest regulatory and IOSA changes and support the adaptation of these changes into FY CAMO QA Documentation.
- Assist in managing and controlling all FY CAMO Quality Assurance documents, ensuring their relevancy, update, accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
- Support the planning and coordination of Quality Review Meetings (QRMs) to discuss and analyse findings from quality assurance activities.
- Assist in organising and maintaining records for Audit Review Meetings (ARMs) within the QA Department.
- Ensure the effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders for regulatory activities such as route registration and airport requirements.
- Provide support for aircraft registration and Apparatus Assignment applications, assist in planning and executing QA Department projects and initiatives, and contribute to QA activities related to aircraft delivery programs.
Qualifications and Working Experience
- Diploma and Degree in Science, Safety, Engineering or related field in Aviation Engineering.
- Possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) or equivalent professional qualification
- Attended applicable mandatory & qualifying courses as per CAME 00-05-00
- Minimum of 5 years in aviation
Areas of Experience
- Knowledge of aviation regulations in relation to aircraft operations, inspection and maintenance regimes.
- Experience with implementing and auditing test methodology and QA standards
- Experience in preparing technical report associating with maintenance issues
