The position can be based in either Filton (UK) or Toulouse (France).
We are seeking a rare hybrid talent: a Software Developer with a deep appreciation for Structural Engineering. You won't just be writing code; you will be architecting the digital platforms that Airbus engineers use to size and certify aircraft. From migrating legacy systems to integrating AI-driven surrogate models, your work will directly impact lead times and data continuity for our global fleet.

Structural Intelligence: You’ll apply your knowledge of FEM (Nastran/Hyperworks) and Airframe Structural Analysis to ensure our digital tools reflect physical reality.
Digital Transformation:You will be a key player in transforming Airbus Stress Engineering community, migrating legacy tools into our modernISAMIecosystem (Airbus Structural Analysis toolset) and exploring next-gen GUI and multidisciplinary optimization.
ABOUT YOU:
The Architect:You have a strong grasp ofObject-Oriented Programming (C++, Python)and software architecture.
The Engineer:You aren't afraid of structural mechanics. You understand stress analysis and have experience with tools likeNastran, Hyperworks, or even Airbus’ ISAMI.
The Communicator:You can explain complex technical concepts in fluent English and thrive in a collaborative, "one-team" environment.
The Visionary:You are curious about AI and data continuity and want to apply these to aerospace engineering.
