Start Time is 2:00pm until 10:00pm.
Primary Duties:
- Able to read blueprints, micrometers, etc.
- Operate and adjust CNC lathes, CNC mill and auxiliary equipment
- Remove and reset tooling or otherwise adjust machine as required.Assure all parts are produced with minimum burrs, if any.Manually clean and deburr parts.Handle specialty parts with care.
- Responsible for keeping all tooling used in the area inventoried and organized in the mini-cribs
- Must meet the performance requirements in a 90-day evaluation
- Must maintain proficient productivity and set-up requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to effectively work with people in a team environment
- Understand part numbers and be able to read them.
- Detail oriented.Good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods, or practices.
- Understand and be able to work with and around chemicals
- If have not attended basic shop, will be required to attend next class.
Physical Requirements:
Continuously lifting and moving very light weight material (1-5 lbs.)
Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (5-50 lbs)
Occasional lifting and moving heavy weight material up to (50 lbs. +) with assistance.
Standing continuously at a machine.
