We are seeking a Test Technician with strong electronics, testing, and troubleshooting experience.
This is a contingent to hire opportunity onsite in Lisle, IL.
Core Responsibilities
• Build, modify, and prepare connector assemblies, cable assemblies, modules, PCBs, and load boards for mechanical, environmental, and electrical testing
• Perform hand soldering, wire preparation, and termination (crimp, solder, weld)
• Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements
• Execute test plans, document results, and analyze data
• Support root cause failure analysis and troubleshooting of interconnect systems
• Prepare samples for reliability testing and assist with various fabrication steps
Must Have Requirements
• High School Diploma + 3 years related experience, or Associate’s degree + 1 year experience
• Proficiency in hand soldering
• Experience with interconnect systems (twisted pair, coaxial, etc.)
• Experience with wire preparation and termination techniques
• Ability to read and execute test plans
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred (Not Required)
• IPCA-610 certification
• Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, microscope software)
• Familiarity with lab equipment (ohmmeters, microscopes, multimeters, continuity meters)
• Troubleshooting experience supporting failure analysis
Pay rate: $25/hour-$30/hour
