Role Purpose
The role is responsible to carry out skilled mechanical/electrical maintenance, servicing & repairing ground support equipment (motorized and non-motorized, light & heavy-duty vehicles) at the workshop and on site. Furthermore, to assist in improving reliability of equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance programs as per departmental SOP.
What You Will Be Doing
- Ensures highest standard of services while carrying out scheduled maintenance or servicing of aircraft ground support equipment, light and heavy-duty vehicles
- Carries out charging of vehicle batteries following all safety precautions and verify capacity of motor/generator on an electrical test bench
- Update Maximo system appropriately and follow instructions of material withdrawal at stores.
- Performs modifications & skilled/preventive maintenance on automotive, heavy equipment & vehicles and overhauls of engine/transmission and conduct all line maintenance activities as required
- Ensure outstanding work are completed while taking over handover from outgoing shifts and maintains log of daily work record of completed works, materials used, and time spent.

What We Are Looking For
- Higher secondary education and formal training or apprenticeship in the mechanical trade
- Minimum 4 years' experience in GSE field with engine/transmission /hydraulic overhauls
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a mechanic in heavy and light equipment
- Effective Communication skills, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety-conscious physically and mentally fit
- Local driving license will be an added advantage
