RTX is seeking a Facilities Manager, East Asia to join the Enterprise Real Estate Services (ERS) team. This position will report to the Sub-Regional Facilities Leader and be part of the ERS International Operations team, with functional alignment to the ERS Facilities Center of Excellence.
What You Will Do
- Lead facility professionals across designated facilities within the sub-region, in partnership with the Global Facilities COE, Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), Portfolio Managers (PMs), Project Delivery (PD) team, and Transaction Management team.
- Be responsible for teams that maintain all building operations and maintenance, including plumbing, utilities, mechanical systems, HVAC, and fire safety systems. Provide oversight of site services, including food services (cafeteria, catering, vending), custodial services, landscaping, snow removal, pest control, and furniture moves. Lead a large, geographically dispersed organization, including teams operating under complex bargaining agreements.
- Implement International Operations and Facilities Management COE strategies, including service levels, selection of service providers, processes, tools, and approved automation or digital initiatives.
- Maintain and continuously improve the efficiency of your designated sites within the sub-region, with a focus on exceptional customer experience, including people, process, and systems.
- Ensure local, sub-regional, and all federal safety and facilities compliance for all sub-regional sites.
- Ensure compliance with companywide energy & sustainability goals such as becoming carbon neutral, reducing waste, and sustainability; this also includes developing and integrating ESG practices in the workplace.
- Partner with EHS to administer environmental and safety programs and maintain incident reporting system.
- Work cross-functionally with relevant ERS COE’s, BRM’s, PMs, PD, ES Functions (DT, Security, HR) and Business Functions (Finance, EHS, Security, Supply Chain etc.).
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline, with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Facilities experience including Facilities Management, Facility Operations, Project Management, or Maintenance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, communication and the ability to interact with senior levels of management. Experience in development and delivery of presentations to various levels of management. Ability to communicate concepts, procedures, and systems needed clearly to all levels of the organization.
- Strong relationship management skills along with experience and success working with an outsourced service provider and managing third party vendors. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and gain stakeholder alignment along with the ability to manage multiple competing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Program and Project management, including risk, schedule and budget management.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and work through others to achieve desired results. Experience leading cross-business, cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse work group in a results-oriented environment utilizing regional teams and vendor partners.
- Demonstrated skill in financial management including the ability to develop and execute annual operating and capital plans.
- Strong analytical skills to include the ability to synthesize large quantities of data and develop recommendation that will drive continuous improvement.
Work Location
This is a hybrid role. Eligible candidates must reside within the sub-region (Singapore or Malaysia), with Singapore preferred. The role requires periodic travel to sites across East Asia.
