Employee & Executive Communications Staff
Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
As a member of the Employee and Executive Communications team, this strategic thinker will lead communications planning and execution for the Aeronautics Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization, providing executive communications support to the vice president of E&T and the chief engineer. The successful candidate will incorporate strategy, culture and transformation messaging into their work and work collaboratively with teammates and internal customers to provide exceptional support to the function.
This individual must have the ability to support high-profile communications for up to 30,000 employees, with complex subjects that are critical to our long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic communicator and support the Aeronautics Engineering & Technology organization and its vice president and chief engineer.
- Develop, execute and evaluate communications and engagement plans with written and visual media using a variety of channels including internal communications tools, video, webcasts, email/newsletters and more.
- Have the ability to translate complex subjects into digestible information for large audiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on planning and execution of employee communications initiatives and coach teammates supporting Engineering & Technology sub-teams.
- Provide strategic communications direction and coaching for executives.
- Respect others and collaborate with teammates.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
