Job Description
Process timekeeping, attendance, and discrepancies for Customer Support & Services Employees. Process requests and administer leaves of absence. Communicate with CS&S Employees and provide support regarding pay inquiries, discrepancies, and leaves of absence. Collaborate with other workgroups.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timekeeping is accurately processed according to applicable laws, contractual agreements, and departmental policies
- Maintains SOX compliance by ensuring all backdated schedule and pay adjustments are completed accurately and within time constraints to reduce risk of over/under payments
- Process and administer leaves of absence according to applicable laws, contractual agreements, and departmental policies
- Ensure necessary supporting documentation is provided for daily leave processing
- Identify and perform necessary research to resolve attendance and leave of absence discrepancies
- Meets productivity and accuracy standards to support Team goals and meets daily/pay period/weekly/monthly deadlines
- Serves as a general resource for leaves of absence with regard to worker's compensation, transitional duty, FMLA, ADA, Company policy issues, and Employee Contract issues.
- Documents and retains records in appropriate systems, including but not limited to bids, changes or updates/revisions, or discrepancies via phone or email or other applications
- Maintain up to date knowledge of appropriate data systems, processes, and policies relevant to job duties
- Interacts with Employees, Leadership, and third-party vendors to assist in researching Employee requests and communicates information via e-mail, telephone, and in meetings
- Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description

Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: College course work with relevancy to Business Administration or Human Resources
Experience
- Required: Proficient in knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Required: 2 years of Customer Service or relevant business experience
- Preferred: Prior working knowledge of automated time and attendance systems
- Preferred: Previous experience processing and/or administering leaves of absence
- Preferred: Experience working with union contracts
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must maintain confidentiality when handling confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
- Must have flexibility to work extended hours if necessary, during the week, weekend, or on Company holidays, as necessary to meet deadlines, payroll close, or for time-sensitive projects
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Pay
- Competitive market rate from $24 per hour to $27 per hour* depending on qualifications and experience
Assignment Length
- This contract is a twelve-month assignment, and the duration may be modified based on business need
