Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in CAD software and aerospace systems design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and schematics while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate technical drawings and schematics in line with company guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to transform conceptual designs into technical drawings.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Top Solid, CATIA, etc.) for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Revise and update technical documentation based on project specifications and feedback.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to legal, safety, and regulatory requirements for aerospace systems and components.
- Conduct regular design reviews and maintain up-to-date engineering documentation.
- Perform dimensional calculations, adjust tolerances, and select appropriate materials for projects.
- Participate in team meetings and project reviews to provide updates on progress and challenges.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Top Solid, or CATIA.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and 3D modeling techniques.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry or related fields.
- Knowledge of materials selection and mechanical tolerancing.
