Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Specialist I supports the Program and Aftermarket Groups with various administrative and coordination tasks to ensure timely sales execution and order fulfillment. This role involves learning the company's order processes, assisting in resolving routine issues, and maintaining accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interface with Sales, Programs, Aftermarket teams to support the execution of sales, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
- Assist with order entry and verification of incoming sales orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, part numbers, and customer information
- Collaborate with Sales, Programs, and Aftermarket teams to support execution of customer orders
- Track and report basic sales data; maintain logs and documents for internal records
- Support resolution of routine order discrepancies or missing documentation by coordinating with internal teams
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to sales order status and fulfillment timelines
- Help maintain standard operating procedures and suggest minor improvements based on day-to-day observations
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and Logistics teams to support timely deliveries
- Learn and utilize ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred) and reporting tools under supervision
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Perform other administrative or support duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-3 years of experience in sales operations, customer service, or order processing
- Basic understanding of sales order processes or ERP systems is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $22.00/hr to $26.00/hr, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
