
Synopsis
In this role, you will ensure availability of traffic rights, as and when required, to support Etihad’s short and long-term operating plans; and support enhancement of the UAE’s pool of traffic rights through coordination with national and international authorities, and other concerned stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Prepare comprehensive analysis and briefs, for lobby visits and consultations, to support EAG’s case for traffic rights.
- Analyse draft Air Services Agreements and other aeropolitical documents, to protect and/or enhance the UAE’s and EAG’s interests.
- Source, and distribute, critical information related to other countries’ regulatory policies, developments or events, which have a potential bearing on EY’s aeropolitical interests
- Represent EAG at air services consultations, relevant regional and global aviation seminars and conferences, as and when required by Line Manager, to project and protect EAG’s interests.
- Develop and maintain aeropolitical contacts in order to generate a favourable influence towards EAG’s traffic rights’ requirements.
- Provide clarification on aeropolitical issues and queries to all internal EAG entities
- Undertake special projects and aeropolitical exercises as may be assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, International Affairs or equivalent
- 5 years experience in international relations and/or regulatory matters, with good written and oral communication skills, both in Arabic and English
