Position Summary
Perform comprehensive financial and business analysis via financial statements. To ensure timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of the closing of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements.
Key Accountability
- Provide strategy input towards building practical and actionable financial strategy for daily operations, Analyse costs, variable contributions, pricing, sale results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plan.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Manage the preparation of the company annual budget and revision (if any) to ensure alignment of ABP.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Develop trends and projections for the companys financial. Ensure internal and external audit compliance and close gaps on audit findings within the specified time frame.
- Proactively monitor and control operating expenses though periodic communication with various departments/stakeholders to meet annual budget target.
Qualifications and Working Experience
- A Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance and or Professional Qualification
- (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA etc)
- Certification from chartered accounting bodies (preferred).
- 3 to 4 years in Accounting/Finance or in the related field
Areas of Experience
- Industry knowledge - Expert level of Knowledge for airline business
- Prepare full set of accounts, with focus on AP and AR functions
- Liaise with suppliers and customers on payment matters
- Hands-on experience in SAP system is an added advantage.

- Proficient user of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills effective
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- To challenge status quo when necessary. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Possesses good analytical skills and is meticulous and result-oriented
