Role Objective
To manage and oversee end‑to‑end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of employee salaries and benefits. The role also involves handling full & final settlements, statutory compliance, and employee benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Management:
- Handle end‑to‑end payroll processing.
- Ensure accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Maintain payroll records and generate monthly reports.
- Full & Final Settlement (F&F):
- Process exit settlements including pending salaries, leave encashment, gratuity, and other dues.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance for smooth clearance.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing and compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, and Income Tax.
- Liaise with auditors and government authorities for statutory audits.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws.
- Employee Benefits:
- Administer Provident Fund, Gratuity, and other statutory benefits.
- Address employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in payroll processes and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Human Resources.
- Professional certifications in payroll or HR compliance (preferred).
- 5–7 years of proven experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
- Would prefer candidates who are immediate joiners or who could join us in a shorter notice period.
Mode of Work: 5 Days a week & work from office only
