What You Will Do:
This internship is designed for high-caliber final-year engineering students seeking exposure to global aerospace supply chain strategy and execution.
Interns will work within the India Supply Chain organization, contributing to India-based sourcing initiatives and transition of suppliers, parts, and processes to global manufacturing centers. The role provides hands-on experience in complex, high-stakes programs with real business impact.
What You Will Learn
Interns will have opportunity to learn industry best practices while engaged with one or more high-impact projects such as:
- Global Supplier Transition Program
- End-to-end mapping of supplier transition to global manufacturing sites.
- Risk assessment, mitigation planning, and readiness tracking.
- Sourcing Value Creation
- Spend analysis and identification of sourcing opportunities.
- Cost benchmarking and should-cost analysis.
- Supplier Performance & Risk Analytics
- Development of KPI frameworks and dashboards for quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Data-driven root cause analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Digital & Process Enablement
- ERP data analysis (e.g., SAP) and reporting automation.
- Development of standardized supply chain documentation and SOPs.
Qualifications You Must Have *
- Final-year M. Tech/B.E./B.Tech / MBA students with a mandatory 6-month full-time internship requirement.
- Preferred disciplines: Mechanical / Aerospace / Production / Material / Industrial / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Strong academic track record.
- Ability to interpret data, BOMs, routings, and basic engineering documentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Power BI / analytics tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles (procurement, logistics, planning)
