Astronics-PECO is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide technical and administrative support to company?s manufacturing engineers and operations personnel. This position?s primary role is supporting the manufacturability of components for new and existing product groups.? You will act as a technical support liaison for Engineering, production, and suppliers.?

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create, modify and revise manufacturing work instructions and flow documentation
- Provide rework instructions and update jobs to include rework operations
- Review of customer specifications for changes that impact manufacturing processes
- Enter, review, and revise MRP routings and bills of materials (BOMs) for existing and new products
- Review, maintain, and report data tracking and measuring manufacturing performance
- Design and create 3D printed and vinyl cut tools, fixtures, and masking aids
- Provide general support to manufacturing personnel, including troubleshooting assistance, workflow improvement, training and root cause evaluation.
- Perform time studies and update ERP system
- Support the design of tooling and fixtures for manufacturing; perform routine repair and maintenance on tooling and fixtures
- Attend Quality Manual Standards Training and apply Quality Standards accordingly
- Support safety and security procedures

Knowledge, skills and Abilities:
- Associates degree in a technical discipline and 1-3 years of experience providing technical support in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing assembly
- Familiarity with CAD programs, SolidWorks, preferred
- Experience with computer-based engineering change (ECN) systems, automated MRP system, and BOM maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of comfort working with computer software and proficiency with MS Office applications
