Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience with CATIA V5
- Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
- US-DOD Top Secret clearance
Job Description
You will be the Airframe Structural Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge aircraft structural solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Airframe Structural Design Engineer you will be responsible for turning complex aerodynamic concepts into reliable, manufacturable structures that enable mission success.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Creation and modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
- Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
- Assisting in the creation of system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
- Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interfacing with external IPTs and suppliers.
