Summary
The Crew Pay Analyst evaluates pay via system exports and manual audits to identify, and resolve pay discrepancies. The Analyst ensures Crew Pay integrity by providing proactive and timely issue resolution. The Analyst partners with other departments to ensure continued pay accuracy while acting as a subject matter expert for all organizational and CBA related changes that relate to and affect crewmember pay.

Years of Experience:
•Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a Crew related field.

•Minimum three (3) years of Payroll or Accounting related experience.

Job Duties
•Process accurate and timely payroll adjustments for all Pilots and Flight Attendants in compliance with the respective Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
•Identify and resolve system driven pay discrepancies through daily audits to maintain compliance with the scheduling manuals and proactive issue resolution.
•Provide the highest level of customer service support by resolving issues and discrepancies brought forward by crew members in a timely fashion by immediate processing a high volume of phone calls, JIRAs, and emails.
•Create and maintain training processes and procedures related to Crew Payroll for internal use and education.
•Provide continuing education of crew members on payroll rules and applications via educational videos, quarterly base visits, interactive Live Q&As and new hire and recurrent training event via face-to-face classroom-style education.
•Partner with Crew Planning, Payroll, Crew Scheduling, Inflight and Flight Operations, Safety and other departments to calculate and ensure accurate pay for unique pay credit authorizations.
•Work with Labor and Contract Compliance departments to implement pay rule changes driven by changes to Collective Bargaining Agreements or settlement agreements impacting pay credits or pay logic.
•Provide subject matter expertise for all crew pay related databases to ensure sufficient testing of logic changes and reporting/tracking of logic errors.
•Address daily pay credit exceptions not supported by automated payroll system associated with crewmembers’ schedules in accordance with Flight & Inflight CBA pay guidelines.
•Follow up monitoring and action of these requests via email communications to Crew Services and subsequent follow up via manual adjustment to Payroll System.
•Immediate and on-time calculation of final pay for terminating crew members via manual audit and database adjustments to ensure submission to the payroll department for processing per the appropriate state law timelines.
•Maintain up to date knowledge on state laws impacting pay rules and logic.
•Provide feedback to departments regarding transaction errors resulting in pay discrepancies to assist in recurrent training for their team members.
•Monthly audits and continued maintenance to ensure accurate PTO, Vacation, FLEX, and SICK balances, usage, and accruals for all crew members.
•Manage and track employee payroll audit records, including but not limited to, repayment plans and DTG deductions.
•Bi-weekly manual auditing of SICK/DTO usage to mitigate over usage.
•Monthly audits and processing of payroll adjustments for Leave of Absences (LOA).
•Manual audits and adjustments for Fatigue calls based on final decisions made by Fatigue Review Committees.
•Conduct UAT for deploys or updates to the scheduling system, CPI, or Tableau.
•Coordinate collection of unauthorized credit card charges made by crew members provided with company lodging.
•Coordination and attendance at meetings with other departments to drive and implement changes based on current trends, upcoming events, and historical reporting.
•Coordination and attendance at bi-weekly meetings with other departments to drive a reduction in pay errors driven by errors in scheduling system allocations.
•Support the System Chief Pilots Office by providing research and immediate resolution when able, at the dispute level to mitigate formal grievance filings.
•Provide support for the Labor Relations department by providing grievance-related supporting documents and research in preparation for formal responses and arbitration.
•Ensure consistent and timely communication to provide crew members with information related to system changes or other scenarios affecting the processing of pay.
•Continuing monthly manual audits to ensure accuracy in pay reconciliation at the end of each month via excel and other systems to ensure pay issues and inaccuracies created by errors in the system are resolved.
•Analyze data and provide trend reports to Senior Leaders to minimize errors and manual audits YoY.
•Support Crew Training in the reconciliation of Instructor pay via enhanced automation.
•Responsible for implementation of pay rules and automation for new scheduling systems and pay systems.
•Attendance at industry conferences to ensure we remain aligned with industry standards and travel as needed.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Other duties/projects as assigned.
