Job Summary
The key roles of this position are supporting Helpdesk and Asset Management. This role enables the employee gain real-world experience in the work force by working with the IT department.
Job Responsibilities
- Asset Management
- Computer setup, repair, decommission and recycling
- Spare parts organization
- Helpdesk
- Computer Maintenance
- End user set up and support via phone and in person
- Support Printers
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Support related improvement projects as assigned.
- Completes Key Job Requirements and other tasks related to this position as assigned by cognizant management.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Essential
- MUST BE A U.S Citizen
- Education: Student actively attending an IT related area of studies.
- Previous IT support experience is beneficial.
- Strong writing and communication skills are required.
- Experience with Microsoft products is beneficial.
- Support the vision and mission for the Company, and the strategies and processes to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and management.
- Support the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment by adhering to Company policy and various government regulations.
- Comply with the GKN Compliance and Ethics Policy on Contracting with the United States Government in all areas of responsibility involving direct and indirect contracting with the United States Government.
