This is an exciting opportunity to develop the visual identity of the largest aviation group in Europe, Lufthansa Group. As we embark on modernizing our look and feel we are looking for a hands-on inhouse Referent Corporate Designer (m/w/d) to support on day-to-day design tasks.
Tasks
The Group Brand Strategy & Brand Management team drives four key strategic topics: 1) Brand Strategy & Brand Measurement 2) Brand Management 3) Design & Visual Identity Development 4) Premium Project.
- Drive the design strategic development of the Lufthansa Group’s brand identity and corporate design system
- Define and maintain global corporate design standards and guidelines for Group brands in a multibrand environment
- Translate brand principles into scalable applications across digital, product, spatial and Group-wide touchpoints
- Establish tools, templates and processes to ensure correct and efficient design implementation
- Serve as central contact for brand and design inquiries and steer external agencies
- Guide cross‑Group branding and design initiatives collaborating closely with various stakeholders
- Ensure brand compliance in new initiatives and partnerships
- Manage Design Management Platforms, and evolve key brand applications and future design standards
Requirements

- Degree in graphic, media or communication design plus several years in corporate or international agency environments, ideally with global brands
- Ability to translate brand strategy into scalable design systems and holistic visual identities
- Proven experience in developing and implementing visual brand identities and explaining design decisions in a business context
- Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and MS Office
- Strong sense for typography, imagery, color and integrated design
- Experience in managing branding projects and stakeholders
- Structured, resilient, solution‑oriented
- Fluent business English
