Tasks
What you'll do:
- Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts
- Build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Create and negotiate tailored rate offers and agreements
- Acquire new customers using advanced sales tools and market insights
- Conduct sales visits and presentations to promote Lufthansa’s products and services
- Maintain customer data and track activities in our CRM system
- Encourage customers to use our innovative eServices
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver logistic solutions
- Support local sales events and customer initiatives
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in Aircargo Sales
- Familiarity with cargo forwarders and customers in Italy
- Understanding of Italian business culture
- Fluent in Italian and English (German is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of the airfreight industry and sales practices
- Proficient with IT, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with key Air Cargo systems and tools
