About The Role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for leading engineering, evolution, and optimisation of cloud‑native data and AI ecosystems?
This dynamic role is to ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and high‑performing, empowering teams with the tools and capabilities needed to unlock value and accelerate innovation.
Importantly, you will drive optimisation through automation, modern architecture, and engineering best practice to improve performance, lower operational overheads, and enhance cost‑efficiency.
Beyond data, you will lead a high‑performing engineering team by spanning platform, data, and MLOps engineers and creating an environment where innovation thrives and excellence is the standard.
You’ll champion a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous learning, ensuring the team has the skills, support, and motivation to deliver high‑quality solutions at pace.
As a hands-on leader, you’ll provide technical mentorship and guidance, helping engineers elevate their craft, adopt modern practices, and progress confidently in their careers.

About You
Degree qualified, you will demonstrate a minimum of 7 years' experience in data platform engineering, cloud architecture, or AI infrastructure roles.
You are expected to possess expertise in cloud-native Data and AI platforms (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric, IBM Watsonx).
