This leader serves as Associate Director, Lean Transformation CORE / CI. This role is engaged in the enterprise deployment, governance, and advancement of the CORE operating system across 250+ sites globally and 80,000 employees, including all Collins Top 32 sites. This leader directly engages with Operations Site leaders and teams across the global enterprise in creating the next level of Operations performance. Acting as the enterprise face of CORE Lean Transformation for Site continuous improvement (one of the 4 CORE pillars), the Associate Director partners closely with Collins Site Leadership Teams to embed Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Agile methodologies, elevate CORE maturity, and align business systems, processes, and behaviors into a cohesive, high-performance operating model.
What You Will Do:
- Own the Execution of the CORE Lean Transformation strategy and multi-year roadmaps, aligned with OLT priorities to the chosen sites for Lean Transformation
- Execute a multi-year CORE resource, capability and budget plan to support Collins Lean Transformation sites and operational domains.
- Translate enterprise strategy into actionable plans deployed across all SBUs and sites.
- Champion CORE maturity advancement, certification standards, and policy deployment for all operational Collins Sites
- Partner with Collins Site leadership to address systemic operational challenges and deliver scalable, innovative solutions.
- Lead enterprise-level CI engagements to eliminate waste, improve flow, and deliver measurable performance improvements.
- Support enterprise forums and mechanisms to share Lean Transformation best practices, standard work, and success stories across the organization.
- Conduct CORE assessment validations, ensuring consistency with Collin’s norms.
- Facilitate creation and execution of the multi-year Lean Transformation plan
- Mentor and develop a team of CI leaders and practitioners, building bench strength and future CORE leadership capability.
- Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time (domestic & international)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- 4+ years’ experience with effective change management and Lean Transformational deployments
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leaders within complex, matrixed organizations.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Advanced CORE certification (Professional / Expert), or active progress towards.
- Experience with CI, operational excellence, and enterprise Lean Transformation.
- Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization, including influencing behaviors and change management
- Experience leading large-scale, global operating system deployments across multi-site organizations and SBUs.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
