Join the Astronics team as a Business Systems Analyst!
Shape the Future of Aerospace Innovation
Are you passionate about leading cross-functional teams and bringing structure to complex initiatives? If so, we invite you to take your career to new heights by joining our team as a Business Systems Analyst.
What you’ll do:
At Astronics, you will serve as a Scrum Master and Business Systems Analyst, facilitating delivery within a hybrid Agile environment. While we follow Agile principles, our structure is not fully Agile — our teams work with multiple business stakeholders instead of a dedicated Product Owner. You will bridge communication between end-users, technical staff, and leadership, helping drive ERP support tasks, access management workflows, Time & Expense (Ceridian Dayforce) implementations, and reporting/dashboarding improvements.
This role is hybrid, blending onsite collaboration with remote flexibility to support stakeholders across the U.S., Canada, and other Astronics locations.
Your role will encompass:
Agile Facilitation
· Serve as Scrum Master for project and support teams, coordinate workload and facilitating sprint ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and celebrations) and provide coaching to other teams
· Maintain the Agile board and organize the backlog in Jira Software.
· Collaborate with stakeholders across five plant locations to prioritize and refine requirements.
· Guide teams in applying Agile principles within a pragmatic, mixed-methodology environment.
· Identify and remove delivery impediments to enable project success.
Business Systems Analysis
· Lead analysis and improvement of business processes within ERP (Intuitive), Time and Expense, and Finance systems.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues spanning multiple systems.
· Develop validation scripts, testing plans, and technical specifications for development teams.
· Configure small applications, workflows, and reports to meet operational requirements.
· Support audit and compliance efforts as needed.
· Facilitate knowledge sharing among IT and business teams.
Project Management
· Plan, coordinate, and report on the progress of IT and business initiatives adhering to SDLC.
· Document and communicate project updates, schedules, and key milestones to leadership.
· Ensure all activities follow established compliance, change management, and quality control standards.
· Lead the deployment of the Ceridian Dayforce Cloud Time and Expense solution across Astronics plants as your initial project.
Support and Reporting
· Assist teams in managing tickets, requests, and enhancements through Jira Service Management.
· Generate and maintain dashboards and reports to support performance, analytics, and decision-making.
· Provide testing, training and end-user support where appropriate.
Qualifications Required:
· US Citizenship (as required by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations - ITAR)
· 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, project management, or agile delivery.
· Experience configuring ERP systems and HR/timekeeping tools such as Ceridian Dayforce.
· Proficiency with Jira or other ticketing/tracking systems.
· Understanding of Agile principles, SDLC, and technical specification writing.
· Experience with reporting/dashboarding solutions.
· Knowledge of change management processes and tools.
· Formal Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus.
Key Competencies:
· Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across departments.
· Professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively across hybrid and virtual teams
· Effective facilitator confident working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership.
· Analytical thinker skilled at complex problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
· Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
