Key Tasks
• Management of a large geographical area without a large team of direct reports, ensuring a positive, customer-focused approach, guiding and encouraging independent teams to maximize its performance
• Lead the ACS Sales teams, setting their IKOs and supporting their Individual Development Plans and develop them through our Learn & Grow programs
• Set the ACS Sales team performance targets ensuring they are aligned with the ACS Global Priorities for revenue, capacity optimization and gap to market rate levels
• Actively push to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the DHL Aviation network, whilst focusing on new area’s of interest to strengthen the aviation footprint in the region
• Achievement of budgeted revenue and yield figures within cost parameters
• Forecast of business trends, impacts of specific events and impacts to customer business, seizing new opportunities as they arise
• Work closely with Revenue Management and Operations leadership to optimize the customer experience through strategic decision making
• Recommends commercial strategies to impact revenue maximization
• Be able to communicate at all levels to influence future strategies, both at design and implementation level
• Manage the complexities of multi country sales and cross border selling
• Manage the complexities of flexible, rather than guaranteed capacity
• Maintain and increase existing revenue streams and relationships with our Global and Regional Key Accounts by leading the sales strategy
• Lead direct key account, charter and interline relationships within the sub region
• Ensure Compliance to all regulations and processes
Requirements for the Job
University degree or equivalent
10 years in Aviation/Express industry
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
